55th Street Residence Hall

Our 55th Street residence hall is nestled in the middle of some of New York’s most exciting neighborhoods. Community and convenience will be right outside your door, while the comforts of home will be waiting for you after a long day.

Located in Midtown Manhattan, 55th Street — or simply “55th” as it’s known around campus—is home to more than 500 residents. First-year students, transfer students, and continuing students live at 55th in two-bedroom apartments. Two or three students live in each bedroom, which comes fully furnished with twin XL beds, desks, wardrobe/closets, and dressers, designed to maximize your living space. Each apartment has its own kitchenette and bathroom, with a second half-bath and additional vanity in some of the larger apartments.

55th Street is a brisk 16-block walk to Nugent and Carson Halls or a quick bus ride. And with 55th Street just steps away from multiple subway lines, you’ll have easy access to the whole city.
